Nelevation; so who exactly are we?
Like all good inventions, the Nelevator and hence Nelevation were brought into existence by good ole mother necessity.
Allen Pearson, Nelevator’s inventor, has been a product designer all his working life and for the past 20 years has run his own highly successful product design firm. In his spare time Allen is also a keen railway enthusiast and has built an N-gauge scale replica of the famous “Ribblehead viaduct” in his specially adapted garage.
Soon after the completion of the Ribblehead layout Allen realised that his fiddle yard just wasn’t going to be large enough to accommodate his burgeoning collection of trains. Thinking laterally, or perhaps vertically in this case, the concept of a vertical train storage elevator crystalised in Allen’s product design mind and the Nelevator was born.
Bringing his years of product design experience to hand, Allen has nurtured the design from his embryonic ideas to a fully functioning vertical train storage elevator capable of taking 20 full length trains.
All aboard the Nelevator!
